This notice covers fhlstephensllc.com, the website of FHL - Stephens, LLC, which exists to describe one commercial unit the company lets.

This website collects nothing

These pages are plain files. There is no account to open, no form to fill in, no cookie set, no analytics, no advertising tag and no third-party script of any kind — not even a typeface loaded from somewhere else. Your browser contacts our hosting provider and nobody else. Our provider keeps short-lived technical logs of requests, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site up; we do not use them to identify anybody.

This website takes no messages

There is deliberately no contact form, no telephone number and no email address on these pages. Nothing you type into a browser here reaches us, because there is nowhere for it to go. Viewings are arranged privately, by appointment.

If you enquire about the unit

When somebody enquires about the unit we receive whatever they choose to tell us — usually a name, a way of getting back to them, the trade they are in and the term they want. We use it for one purpose: to deal with the enquiry and to decide a tenancy.

• We do not sell personal information, and we do not rent or trade it.
• We do not share names, numbers or enquiry details with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
• We send marketing messages to nobody. An enquiry is answered and then the matter is closed; it does not become a mailing list.
• An enquiry that does not lead to a tenancy is disposed of once the unit is let.

If you become a tenant

A tenancy means we hold what a lease requires: the tenant and any guarantor, the business, references, insurance certificates, meter readings and the payment record. It is shared only with the people a tenancy cannot be run without — our accountant, our insurer, and a utility or public authority where the law requires it. Records are kept for as long as tax and landlord law requires, then disposed of.

Children

Nothing here is directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anybody under 13.

Your choices

Ask us at a viewing, or in writing, and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it. There is no form and no portal — the request reaches a person.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
